Sautéed carrots and parsley

You'll need: 
  • 200ml milk;
  • 100g butter;
  • 12 medium carrots;
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour;
  • 1 tsp sugar;
  • Salt, parsley.
  • Peel and slice the carrots, tip into a small amount of water.
  • Bring to the boil, then add sugar and salt.
  • Sauté over low heat for about 30 mins, then remove the lid to allow the remaining water to evaporate.
  • Add a mixture of melted butter, flour and milk (or the carrot water). Heat for a few more minutes.
Serve with Biovela Mom’s fried meatballs or patties decorated with parsley.
