Shepherd’s Pie

You'll need:
  • 300g Biovela Mom’s fried meatballs, patties or chicken fillet nuggets; 
  • 200ml milk;
  • 100g mayonnaise;
  • 100ml meat stock;
  • 150g hard cheese;
  • 300g green peas;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 medium onions;
  • Some medium potatoes;
  • Bechamel sauce.
  • Make a rather firm potato mash adding 50ml milk. 

  • Brush a deep baking dish with oil and tip the potato mash into it. 

  • Fry the carrots and onions in oil. Then layer them over the potato mash. 

  • Arrange Biovela meatballs neatly on top and add the green peas. 

  • Pour over the Béchamel sauce made from butter, flour and milk. Sprinkle over the grated cheese.

  • Mix 2 eggs, the mayonnaise and stock and pour over the pie.

  • Bake in the oven until the top becomes crusty.
